A man suspected in at least two separate shoplifting incidents at the local Walmart has been arrested by Atoka Police. The arrest came after an investigation linking him to thefts in May and early June.
On June 3, 2025, Master Patrol Officer Peydon Griffith began investigating a theft report from Walmart. The store's Asset Protection (AP) employee reported that a male suspect had stolen a Hart 10-piece drill bit set from the hardware section that day.
The AP employee recognized the suspect, believing him to be the same individual who had stolen a 2-ton jack and a Hart 20-volt power tool, totaling $149.88, from the store on May 8, 2025.
