Come join us at the Atoka County Library for a fun and refreshing summer salads class on Friday, July 18th at 1:00 PM! Attendees ages 14 and up will learn how to whip up a variety of delicious salads that will make any meal exciting. Sign-up is encouraged.
“Creating simple and quick nutritional meals can encourage healthy eating habits that can influence how to eat in the long run,” said Library Branch Manager Melissa Walker. “These salad recipes are great for beginners and anyone wanting to learn a new twist on a summertime favorite.”
Atoka County Library is offering this program as part of a health literacy grant from the Oklahoma Department of Libraries (ODL). The program is funded in part by the Institute of Museum and Library Services.
