Search Warrant Leads to Multiple Arrests on Drug, Weapon Charges

A routine attempt to serve municipal arrest warrants on June 29, 2025, escalated into a drug and weapon investigation that resulted in multiple arrests after officers detected the odor of marijuana coming from a residence.

At approximately 6:00 PM, Master Patrol Officer Peydon Griffith of the Atoka Police Department went to a residence on South Dunbar to serve warrants on Guy Alexander.

Upon making contact, a strong odor of marijuana was detected from inside the home. When asked if he possessed a medical marijuana card, a male who exited the residence advised he did not and then attempted to close the door.
