Dear Editor, I am writing this letter to gently remind our community about the nature of Coalgate Animal Rescue. We are entirely volunteer-run, and I, Kealy, am the sole operator. This rescue is a labor of love, not a source of income for me; I do not receive a paycheck for this work. Every animal we save comes from my heart, and frequently, their veterinary care is funded directly from my own pocket when donations fall short.
I also work a full-time job and am the sole provider for my family. Alongside managing my work and family responsibilities, and dealing with personal health issues, I dedicate every spare moment to the rescue. So, if I don't respond immediately or can't meet at your exact convenience, please understand I am not ignoring you. I am simply one person doing my absolute best to juggle many significant responsibilities.
