Our hearts were saddened this week as long time friend, neighbor and community member, Herman Hutson known to all his friends as 'Tugar' passed away.
As long as I can remember Tugar has been synonymous with Daisy, he has always been here and most of us can't remember a time when he wasn't. But then again Tugar had celebrated his 95th birthday in June, a life well lived.
Tugar had many accomplishments and feats that many of us are aware of such as having a thriving cattle operation, always raising a nice garden, grinding corn on the grist mill and making sugar cane molasses.
