County Schools Ease Back-to-School Burden with Free Supplies

As the new academic year approaches, families in several local school districts are receiving welcome news: their students will be provided with free school supplies for the 2025-2026 school year. This initiative by Atoka Public Schools, Tushka Public School, and Stringtown Public School aims to alleviate financial pressure and ensure all students are well-equipped from day one.

Atoka Public Schools announced that all school supplies will be provided free of charge for their students. For elementary students, this means parents will only need to provide a backpack and a pair of gym shoes to get ready for classes.

Tushka Public School has also confirmed it will continue its service of providing free school supplies to its students for the upcoming year. The district expressed excitement about welcoming students back for another successful year, with the first day of school set for August 7, 2025.
