Patricia Ann Himes, age 79, a longtime Atoka, OK resident.

She was born on Monday, February 18, 1946, to Rufus Allen and Elizabeth Francis (Cooksey) Couch, at Lexington, OK.

Patricia passed away on Monday, November 24, 2025 at her home in Coleman, OK.

9 years, 9 months and 6 days.

She graduated from Capital Hill High School in Oklahoma City, OK.

Patricia was a housewife and homemaker. She married Michael David Himes Sr. on Saturday, October 18th, 1969 at Oklahoma City, OK. They celebrated over 56 years together.

Patricia was a longtime member of the General Assembly Church of the First Born. She enjoyed working in the garden, sewing, making halloween costumes, reading her Bible everyday and listening to the audio tapes of it. Patricia enjoyed walking down her neighborhood, sitting on the porch and spending time with her dogs, loved sitting in the sun, either in the sunroom or outside and loved going to all the grandchildren's events.
