Roy Douglas Symonds, age 60, a longtime Atoka, OK resident.

He was born on Friday, August 27, 1965, to Augustus Jack and Rita Jean (Breeden) Symonds, at Ft. Smith, AR.

Roy passed away on Friday, December 5, 2025 at Rattan, OK.

60 years, 3 months and 8 days.

He attended Lane School in his early years and then Atoka High School.

Roy was a lineman all his working life and worked for several different companies.

He married Shannon Lee (Leis) on Tuesday, June 9th, 1992 at Redding, CA.

Roy was of the Baptist faith. He enjoyed riding Harley Motorcycles , and visiting different casinos , and enjoyed collecting old coins.
