She was born on Wednesday, May 29, 1935, to Grover and Rosa Leona (Campbell) Hyde, at Caney, OK.

Dorothy passed away on Wednesday, January 14, 2026 at Atoka, OK.

90 years, 7 months and 16 days.

She attended Caney Public School in her early years.

Dorothy was a health care aide for Atoka Hospital and nursing homes.

She married Forrest Dean Mansell on Wednesday, April 9th, 1952 at Atoka, OK. They celebrated 58 years of marriage before his passing on August 22, 2010.

Dorothy was a member of Melba Avenue Church of Christ. She enjoyed reading, and tending to her flowers, but most of all she enjoyed attending church, studying her Bible, and caring for her children and grandchildren.
