Services for Vada Louise (Hearrell) Glenn, 86, of Minco, will be held Saturday, January 24, 2026, 1pm at the Huber-Benson Funeral Home Chapel in EL Reno, burial will follow at the St. Joseph’s Catholic Church Cemetery in Union City.

Vada Louise Glenn was born May 5, 1939, in Coalgate, Oklahoma, to Alfred Samuel and Jettie Leona (Grogan) Hearrell. She died Friday, January 16, 2026, at her home in Minco at 86 years of age.

Vada was raised in Lane, Oklahoma, and attended Butler country school. At age 6, Vada was baptized in the river at the Farris Pentecostal Holiness Church, as a teen she went to Iron Stob Baptist and later as an adult, the Trinity Baptist Church in El Reno.

She married Melvin “Pib” McKinney on July 1, 1955, and moved to California, being widowed a few years later, Vada moved to El Reno and married Ervin Joseph Kopic on December 31, 1963, and made their home in El Reno.

In the 70’s, she worked for the El Reno Nursing Home as an aid for many years, MCM Hospital Supplies, and married Delton Ray Glenn on June 14, 1975, “Glenn” passed away on, August 14, 1981. Vada moved to Minco in 1986 and later bought “The Office Tavern”. After selling the tavern in the latter 80’s, she started with the Minco Public Schools in custodial services, keeping a close eye on the Huber girls, and over the years they have grown to appreciate Grandmother’s hawkeyes through all their years of school.

After retiring, she cleaned houses and made many new friends she enjoyed and loved… Vada is preceded in death by her parents Alfred and Jettie Hearrell, brothers Sam and James Hearrell, Robert Hearrell and wife Linda Sue, Sisters, Vera Rector and husband Lee, Wilma Golden and husband Jerry, Sue Hamilton, brother-in-law, Frank Cherry, She is survived by her sons, Willius Edward Kopic and wife Cindy of Arizona, Joseph Lewis Kopic and wife LeAnn of Minnesota, John Alfred Kopic of Bethany Daughter, Jeanne Huber and husband Kevin of Minco Sister, Alpha Mae Cherry of Moore Sisters-in-law, Linda Ruth Hearrell of Lane Irene Hearrell of Duncan 8 grandchildren, Brooke Huber and John Goff, Lisa Kopic, Danielle Keiser and husband Gabe Pankonin, Alisha Taylor and husband Mathew, Kelsey Huber, Katie Nelson and husband William, Kelsey Beard and husband Tae, Nicholas Kopic and fiancée Anna 14 Great grandchildren, Kamille Vaught, Kamden Huber, Emily Taylor, Oliva and Cora Pankonin, Dillion, Jayleigh, William and Ezekial Nelson, Ricky and Jorge Ramos, Taeliana, Leyla and Vanessa Beard
