David Odell Hall, age 73, of Atoka, Oklahoma, passed away on March 21, 2026, at his home surrounded by family. He was born on December 6, 1952, in Baytown, Texas, to Arvel Odell Hall and Helen Juanita Hall. David attended school in his early years at Limestone Gap, Stringtown, Tushka, and Atoka, where he graduated in the class of 1971, and later attended Southeastern Oklahoma State University. On November 10, 2007, David married the love of his life, Diann Eaves-Brewster, at Victory Life Church in Atoka. Together they built a life centered on faith, family, love, travel, and a lot of golf! David worked as a machinist and glass cutter for Diamond Attachments and Southeast Machine. He also worked in the oil field, where he drove a tank truck.

David was a member of Victory Life Church, where he faithfully served by running the church sound system. He was also a member of Atoka Trails Golf Course and enjoyed traveling, especially to play different golf courses. David and Diann loved traveling throughout the southern United States, with Georgia, Alabama, and Tennessee among his favorite destinations. He enjoyed visiting with family and friends, taking road trips, particularly to Fairfield Bay, Arkansas, and Tennessee, and spending time fishing and hunting. David also enjoyed watching his favorite shows, including Walker, Texas Ranger and NCIS. Above all, he cherished time with his family.

Left to cherish David's memory is his wife, Diann Hall of the home; son Ryan Hall and wife Lauren of Houston, Texas; bonus children, Stephanie Self and husband James of Eufaula, Oklahoma, Toby Brewster and wife Jennie of Idabel, Oklahoma, and Brittany Brewster and significant other Jay Cuesta of Durant, Oklahoma; grandchildren Barrett Hall, Andrew Hall, and Caroline Hall of Houston, Texas; bonus grandchildren Katelyn Echelle and husband Jakob, and Kyndal Self all of Jacksonville, Florida, Cason Brewster and wife Shelby of Idabel, Oklahoma, Coy Brewster and wife Hannah of Searcy, Arkansas, and Daxton Davis of Durant, Oklahoma; bonus great-grandchildren Kennady Brewster and Beau Wade Brewster; sister Cheryl Southard of Tushka, Oklahoma; special bonus uncle Paul Silvers of Lane, Oklahoma; brothers-in-law Gerald Eaves and wife Ann of Atoka, Oklahoma; Tom Westbrook and wife Donna of Plano, Texas; along with many extended family members and dear friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Arvel Odell Hall and Helen Juanita Hall, and his beloved son, Sean Hall.

David will be laid to rest at Boggy Depot Cemetery beside his cherished parents, his beloved son Sean, and the rest of his family.
