Mack Dane Chambers, age 85, of Atoka, Oklahoma, passed away on May 4, 2026, at his home. He was born on September 1, 1940, in Wenatchee, Washington.
Mack dedicated much of his life to ministry, faithfully serving as a pastor for over 60 years. Throughout his years of service, he pastored churches in Arkansas, Missouri, Florida, Louisiana, Texas, and Oklahoma. He had a deep love for the Lord and for sharing his faith with others. He enjoyed witnessing to people about Jesus, and spending time outdoors, riding bikes, and staying active.
He is survived by his loving wife, Shirley Mae Chambers of Atoka, Oklahoma; his daughters, Denise Campbell and husband Charley of Azle, Texas, and Misty Street and husband Mike of Weatherford, Texas; and his grandsons, Seth Campbell of Hudson Oaks, Texas, Riley Street of Lubbock, Texas, and Coleton Street of Weatherford, Texas. He is also survived by his sisters, Judy Walters, Helen Justus, Diane Ford, and Brenda Workman, all of Atoka, Oklahoma, along with many grandchildren, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Lonnie Mack Chambers; his mother, Lora Lee Chambers; his sister, Charlotte Wilson; his sister, Nona Haggard; and his niece, Chrissy Haggard.
