Joyce Ruby Ceriotti

August 3, 1947 – June 6, 2026

Joyce Ceriotti, 78, of Lane, Oklahoma, passed away on June 6, 2026, in Atoka, Oklahoma. Joyce was born on August 3, 1947, in Ventura, California, to Dannie Wesley Rector, Sr. and Marjorie Helen (Ammiott) Rector.

Joyce married the love of her life, David Ceriotti, on January 31, 1969, in Durant, Oklahoma. Joyce worked for Ethan Allen, the Sheriff’s Office, Wrangler in Coalgate, Oklahoma, served as manager at Love’s, and worked for several years in the County Clerk’s Office.

Joyce was of the Baptist faith and attended Lane Baptist Church. In her free time, she enjoyed fishing, listening to music, and shopping. More than anything, Joyce treasured the time she spent with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Joyce is survived by her husband of 57 years, David Ceriotti of the home in Lane, Oklahoma; daughter, Lisa Miller and husband Todd of Denison, Texas; son, Jason C. Ceriotti and wife Bobbie Jo of Atoka, Oklahoma; sister, Judy Johnson of Lane, Oklahoma; brothers, Lucky Rector and wife Carolyn of Lane, Oklahoma, and Michael Rector and wife Janet of Lane, Oklahoma; grandchildren, Chase Ceriotti, McKinzie Miller, Colton Ceriotti, and Michaela Miller; uncles, Wesley Ammiot and wife Barbara of Atoka, Oklahoma, Gary Ammiot and wife Carol of Lane, Oklahoma, and Larry Ammiot of Atoka, Oklahoma; uncle, Carey Rector and wife Eva of Lane, Oklahoma; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Dannie Wesley Rector, Sr. and Marjorie Helen Rector, and her sister, Jeanie Dale.

A memorial service to celebrate Joyce’s life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 11, 2026, with Bro. Kevin Angel officiating, at Brown’s Funeral Service Chapel in Atoka, Oklahoma.

Honorary pallbearers will be Michael Rector, Lucky Rector, Carey Rector, Wesley Ammiot, Gary Ammiot, and Larry Ammiot.

*No Family Night* Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Brown’s Funeral Service of Atoka.
