Willia Mae Isom, age 81, a Daisy, OK resident was born on Friday, October 27, 1944, to Harry and Dollie Mae (Beard) Erwin, at Kiowa, OK and Willia passed away on Tuesday, September 29, 2026 at Denison, TX.

Willia graduated Stringtown High School class of 1963 before becoming a house wife and working at Texas Instruments as a welder.

Willia married Rickey James Isom on Tuesday, March 9th, 1965 at Atoka, OK.

Willia was a long time member of McGee Valley Baptist Church. She loved gardening, and fishing, especially for perch, even though her hook inevitably found a tree instead of water. Later in life, she was an avid bird watcher, particularly enjoying watching her chickens. She loved spoiling her grandchildren, often asking 'Where are we going to eat?' In early years, she greatly enjoyed camping with her family. She was the family cook, loving cooking Thanksgiving, Christmas, and everything under the sun for every occasion. Her main focus was always on family.

Willia is survived by husband Rickey Isom of the Home; son Robby Isom and Wendy of Daisy, Ok; granddaughters Shandy Hoover and Ricky of Daisy, OK, Melissa Holder and Twister of Antlers, OK, Kecia Hancock and BJ of Comanche OK, and Resa Tatum and Aaron of Daisy OK; grandson Chad Isom and Amelia of Daisy, OK; 20 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; sister Harriet English and Stan of Bloomfield, New Mexico; and special nephew Keith 'Bub' Isom Willia is preceded in death by parents Harry and Dollie Mae (Beard) Erwin.
