Brandon Wayne Yates, age 42, a Durant, OK resident., formerly of Atoka County Oklahoma.

He was born on Friday, December 31, 1982, to Terry Don and Nina Crystal Darlene (Owens) Yates, at Hugo, OK.

Brandon passed away on Sunday, June 29, 2025 at his home in Durant, OK.

42 years, 5 months and 28 days. He graduated from Canadian High School and then went on to attend SOSU.

Brandon was a farrier. He served his country in the US Army. Brandon was of the baptist faith. He enjoyed art, painting, (was very good at drawing), hunting, fishing, camping and did not mind taking a good nap, and loved his dogs.
