Herman Wayne Hutson

Herman Wayne Hutson

June 11, 1930 – July 23, 2025

Herman Wayne Hutson, also known as Tugar, was a lifelong Daisy, OK resident. Herman was born on June 11, 1930 to James Chaylen and Alpha Jane (Sanders) Hutson and passed from this life on July 23, 2025 in his home amongst family.

Herman led a life true to his traditional family raising. In the hills of Daisy, he attended Robinson School up to the fourth grade and then embarked on an educational journey of his own making. His varied endeavors included land surveyor, heavy equipment operator and picking guitar, or fiddle playing music with his brothers. His most well -known title was of a farmer and rancher. He built and branded the Double HH Ranch into a thriving cow and calf operation. Outside of ranching, Herman enjoyed attending Bluegrass Festivals, raising a garden, engaging in conversations with his family and friends, and grinding corn on the grist mill that he purchased in his teens that still operates at his home today.

Herman loved his family and his small-town community that he donated his land to have JESUS on the hillside overlooking the turnpike and valley for all to see.

On June 19, 2022, Herman was baptized at Daisy in his family’s pond and today he is rejoicing in Heaven with those who passed before him: his parents, James and Alpha Jane Hutson; son, Rodger Hutson;brothers Buddy Hutson, T.D. Hutson, Sonny Hutson, Billy Joe Hutson, T.M. Hutson, Sam Hutson: sisters, Tressie Lowe and Flora Isom.
